What the article doesn't mention is that Booger is a mutant dog with the precognitive ability to foresee the future movements of the stock market. The owner will use the five puppies to set up five specifically-themed hedge funds and earn enough to buy another house - and much more! - in six months.
Or something like that. Right? Because if it were just to prove how much she'd loved "Booger," she would have contacted a pit bull breed rescue group and sought to adopt an animal who really needed a home. Because pit bulls are typically automatically deemed "unadoptable" by regular shelters and put to sleep immediately.
